Habitat House #14 will be dried in soon!

Habitat House #15 groundbreaking set for September 2022!
Habitat Grand County’s ambitious goal to start two new homes in summer 2022 is on track, thanks to help from the Grand Foundation and other local benefactors. The construction teams hopes to excavate and pour the home’s foundation by the end of September to take advantage of the $9,500 Board of Commissioners “jump start” grant awarded HFHGC in February 2022. The Homeowner Selection process already is underway. Interested? Contact Executive Director Lisa Cooper at 970-887-9138 or buyers@habitatgrandcounty.org for information about attending one of the mandatory orientation meetings scheduled for September 17 and September 20, 2022.
A New Greenhouse for Mountain Family Center!
Our crew recently completed work on a new ClimaPod greenhouse for Mountain Family Center in Granby. It was an unexpectedly complicated job, requiring five work days and the efforts of at least seven different volunteers. But the end result will help stock the shelves at the center’s food bank with fresh produce, and serve as an educational resource for local residents.
